Police round-up

OFFENDERS have damaged property in a Leitchville public toilet and stolen coins.

The incident happened between September 20 and 22.


POLICE are investigating two fires in Leitchville.

About 4.30pm on September 17, CFA and police went to a property on Hornsby Road where a burn-off had got out of control. There was minor damage to a power pole.

The fire was extinguished without incident.

A couple of days later, CFA extinguished a grass fire on Randalls Road after an implement being used to slash grass hit a rock, sparking the blaze.


A MAN has been arrested over an alleged stolen car.

About 2.30am on September 17, offenders stole a silver Hyundai SUV from a property in Cohuna.

The vehicle was recovered in the Rockbank area.

A 34-year-old female was arrested in relation to vehicle theft along with drug-related matters.


A MOTORCYLE was allegedly stolen from a Normanville property on September 21.

Police said offenders took the Honda CRF210 from a property on Normanville Road in the morning.

It was later located at a Kerang address.


A TRAILER with garden equipment was stolen from a Quambatook address last month.

Police said that between 6pm on September 18 and 9am the following day, a trailer containing gardening equipment and a scissor lift were taken from Charlton Road, Quambatook.
