Property damage
A CAR windscreen has been damaged by a golf ball. About 9pm last Saturday the owner heard a loud bang outside their house. About half an hour later, another two bangs were heard and the resident found two golf balls next to a shed. The next morning the owner saw the windscreen had been damaged. A security camera did not record the perpetrators.
Scooter theft
BETWEEN 10.30pm on November 10 and 10am the next day, a mobility scooter was stolen from near the front door of a house. The mobility scooter was black with a chrome grill and the word “Gatsby” on it.
Items stolen
HORSE shoes and a 500mm fire poker were among items reported taken from the Pioneer Settlement between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on November 10. The items were outside the front of the blacksmith shop, which was unmanned at the time. The items, worth about $200, were made at the Settlement and were intended for sale.
KERANG
Criminal damage
THE fuel tank of a cricket pitch roller at Kerang Cricket Club was emptied of seven litres of unleaded fuel between 8pm on November 10 and 8.50am the next day. Police said it appeared orange juice had been poured into the petrol tank, making the roller unusable. The damage bill is in the range of $8000 to $10,000.
