Wednesday, November 20 – Ladies Stableford
Numbers swelled with 14 women from Cohuna venturing over to join our ladies, with a lot of friendships established. All had a enjoyable game.
There has to be a winner and it was Carol Dear (26) who scored 35 points.
The ball pool went to Joyce Boyd (26) and Angela Giouzellis (33) with 34 points each and Jan Harry (11) and Roslyn Dunne (17) both with 32 points.
The nearest the pins were won by Joy Johnson on 9th and Joyce Boyd on the 13th.
Thursday, November 21 – R & R Stableford
Another good field of 30 competitors contested the event, with the winner Gavin Teasdale (13) with 40 points.
The ball pool was taken out by Joe Tartaglia (15) on 38 points and Chris Waterson (5), Brendan Shields (10), Stephen Phillips (16) and Kevin Lane all on 37 points.
The nearest the pins were won by Col Wilkie (3rd), Gavin Teasdale (5th), Chris Waterson (9th), David Knight (13th) and Peter Jones (16th).
Saturday, November 23 – Stableford & Multiplier
A very good field set out in this two tiered competition, with W. O’Neill the men’s winner with 40 points and M. Dillon winning the ladies with 31 points.
The Multiplier winners were B. Shay and R. Pay with 73 points, while the runners up were S. Harry and C. Manners with 70 points.
The ball pool went to R. Pay with 38 points, C. Gillen, M. Wilson, C. Manners with 36 points and K. Lane and R. Schultze with 35 points.
The nearest the pins were won by S. Jenner (3rd), P. Lloyd (5th), C. Manners (9th), D. Grant (13th) and C. Gillen (16th).
A big week starts this weekend with golf on Saturday and our Groove on the Green on Sunday.
Our annual tournament also starts on Thursday with the Choice Cut Butchers 4BBB, which will be followed by the Hall’s Hardware Pat McKnight Trophy on Saturday, while Sunday sees the Walker’s IGA Three-Person Ambrose event, before finishing with Laughie 4BBB next Saturday, December 7.
