A CROWD of 60 people gathered at Cohuna’s Memorial Park on Sunday, to pay respects to all Vietnam veterans.
Cohuna Leitchville RSL president, Trevor Powis conducted the service “Sound & Duty” and spoke briefly on the history of Long Tan.
Nine Vietnam veterans from Cohuna, Barham/Koondrook RSL’s attended and wreathes were laid in honour.
Geoff Dale laid a wreath for Cohuna/Leitchville RSL, Sonia Wright, the daughter of Alan Cooke laid a wreath on behalf of her family.
Gannawa Shire councillors, Garner Smith and Keith Link, also attended.
Rachel Warren sang the national anthem and everyone was invited to share a light luncheon afterwards.
