Kerang

ONLY four ladies braved the heat to play Wednesday Stableford, where Nola Robinson (26) won with 34 from Shirley (22) on 30, Michelle (9) on 29 and Jan (11) on 24.

Michelle won the Chino’s voucher on the 9th.

A good field played R&R Stableford and again it was Tony Laughlin showing the way (must be the brand new clubs, Tone) winning for the second time in two weeks with a score of 37, Doug Meehan just behind with 36.

Others in the ball pool were Ron Delamare, Terry Turvey and Allan Free all on 35.

NTP went to D. Meehan 3 and 9, J. Tartaglia 5, S. Dibsdale 13 and B. Shields 16.

A great roll-up for the McLardy McShane Clark annual event on Saturday, which had 68 players. Must be a near-record.

The winners were K. Chase/B. Gibson/J. Tartaglia/G. Gin with a net 56.5, from R. Schultze/C. Wilkie/T. Laughlin/J. Harry, with 57.625.

Nearest the line for ladies was Jan Harry and the men was Doug Ellwood.

NTP 3rd Wayne Hall, 5th Shane Dibsdale, 9th Nathan Free, 13th Marty Kelly and 16th Trent Hawkins.

The course is being prepared for some big upcoming events in the next few weeks, so put your names in. Par 3 is fast approaching so mark this one in the calendar, April 14. More info soon but save the date.

The long weekend is again Golfanza time. Good golfing to the Kerang team coming off a win last week against Barham at Rich River GC, now facing Cohuna at Kerang.
