Over the Net – Cohuna

THE last round of home and away tennis was played on Saturday with all teams finishing with a win.

Division 1 played Barham and had a convincing win. The men were up 15 games to 12 and the ladies were up 18 games to five. In the mixed Cohuna came out on top 32 games to 16, for an overall win of 26 games. Well done to Mary for winning all her sets.

Division 3 played Kerang Blue and recruited well to cover injured players. The men were down 33 games to 22 but the ladies won 36 to five, to put them in front. Cohuna also won the mixed 25 games to 13, to win by 32 games. The team has improved during the year and were unlucky to miss out on playing finals. Well done to Zephan, Taylor, Leah and Clare for winning all their sets.

The junior team played well to finish with a win over Barham 30 games to 22. Well done to Charlie for winning all his sets.

Juniors: Cohuna v Gunbower (at Kerang).

Finals start at 1pm and players to bring small plate of afternoon tea. Good luck to everyone

We will be approaching all members to help in some way over the Easter Tournament, in the kitchen, making sweets for Sunday night, making cakes and slices etc. This is our main money raiser so please help where you can. You can now enter online if you wish to play as well.
