A message was received asking who gave me the information regarding the Barham Angling Club’s fishing competition that was in last week’s Komment. No sources will be divulged.
The message was making a claim (yep – with photos) of a 55cm and 48cm Yellow Belly caught by one Gary Wilkinson. They were caught on the Saturday, but, as per original information, I’m sticking with the story that Hippo caught zilch on the Sunday.
So, taking that a step or two further, the message was sent by Judy Wilkinson, and if she had caught a fish on Saturday, I’m sure she would have let me know. So Judy, in conclusion, didn’t you catch a thing all weekend?
Max Maclean was being chauffeured around town by one of his lovely granddaughters last week – Jason’s daughter.
Former Kerang lad Jason is still doing a bit of interstate truck driving.
Hope the whole crew is doing well.
Lloyd and Maria Lewis were seen in the main street the other day, sitting down to a lovely counter meal.
Hopefully the Lewis family will be getting the whole crew together for this Christmas.
It could be a bit doubtful if son Jon can make it home.

Santa snuck into the main street on Thursday afternoon and got involved in a bit of singing with the local choir.
Terry Carter led the way.
Peter and Mary Niall were spotted down there and had a photo with Santa and two lovely grandkids Raynar and Fallon.
Also having a great time was the Barnes children with mum Tania, and it was noted that Ros Campbell made sure she received a cuddle from Santa.
Judy Guest has been organising photos of the town over the past few months and this has inspired quite a few people to dip in and post their own photos of the town.
Seems that there used to be a church on the old IGA car park – is that right?
Just wondering if there were any photos of that about?
While on that, wouldn’t it be great if the concrete bollards in the town centre had some nice artwork on them?
Word is that we can never have any art on the water tower and the silos are also out of bounds.
People are travelling a long way to see the silo art trail, so Kerang could get involved with a bit of art here and there.
Just a thought.
