Burglaries
A WHITE utility, box trailer, John Deere ride-on mower, quadbike and various tools and farming equipment were taken from a farm in Dingwall between November 27 and 29.
The value of stolen items is $20,000.
OFFENDERS broke into a farm at Capels Crossing while the owners were absent between 8pm on November 7 and 9:30pm on November 15.
The driveway fence was broken through, and both the house and shed accessed.
Household electrical items as well as hand and power tools including a compressor, toolbox and other items were stolen.
A number of stolen items from these recent burglaries have been recovered by police. The investigation is continuing.

Theft of motor vehicle
A BROWN 1975 HJ Holden belonging to a 88-year-old parishioner was stolen from outside a church in Campbell Street between 11:00 am and 12:20 pm on November 30.
Some time later the stolen vehicle caused damage to a parked vehicle in a hit and run in Albert Street.
A member of the public known to the victim sighted the distinctive vehicle being driven towards Murray Downs about 1:20pm, but was not aware it had been stolen. Police are following a particular line of inquiry in conjunction with NSW police.
Criminal damage
THE Christmas lights on the Riverside Park Rotunda were vandalised between 9pm on November 30 and 10am on December 1.
The festoon lights had been put up to celebrate the Christmas season, however they have been cut in various places and destroyed.
The property damage is valued at $500.
Windscreen smashed
BETWEEN 10am and 10:30am on Thursday, November 28, the victim was in the backyard of his house in Stradbroke Avenue when he heard a loud bang at the front of his property.
On inspection he noticed a large crack on the front windscreen of his vehicle.
He did not find any objects nearby or sight any persons within the vicinity.
The property damage is valued about $600.

WITH thefts from rural properties occurring over recent weeks and months, police are reminding people to lock vehicles and secure vehicle keys as well as other items such as fuel and farm equipment. Report any suspicious activity around your and your neighbours’ properties to police.
