KERANG

ON Wednesday, 10 ladies turned up to play Stableford, with the winner Meagan Taylor on 35 points.

The ball pool went to Jan Harry 30 and C. Dear 29, while the Chino’s nearest the pins went to C. Dear and J. Harry.

With the improving weather came more golfers, as 27 players rolled up ready to play for Thursday’s R&R Stableford.

The winner was Gary Service with 36 points by countback from Ken Williams.

The ball pool went to C. Gillen (35), T. Hall (34), R. Gannon, A. Free and S. Dibsdale (33).

The nearest the pins went begging on the 3rd, 5th and 16th holes, leaving B.Shay (9th) and M.Wilson (13th) as the winners.

Finally, welcome back to Spud McKerrow, who returned from three months fishing and was the recipient of the pen award.

For Stableford on Saturday, 36 members and guests played in blustery conditions.

The ladies winner was Olive Spitty (1) with 32 points, while the men’s winner was Barry Gladman (26) with 36 points.

The ball pool was won by G. Wyte (35), S. McKerrow, C. Gray, D. Wood (34), Ian Johnsen and P. Hall (33), while the nearest the pins went to J. Harry (3rd), S. Ritchie (5th and 16th), S. Dibsdale (9th), and B. Shields (13th).

Some coming events to put on your calanders include our Visual Appeal day, to be held on the AFL Grand Final Friday public holiday, along with the Gold Watch 4BBB on October 7 and the Club Championships for both ladies and men on Saturday, October 26.
