“As an integral part of our commitment to community and inclusion, Murrabit Group School proudly celebrates Reconciliation Week from May 27 to June 3.
“During this important week, we extend our learning about Indigenous cultures, histories, and achievements.
“Through educational activities, cultural experiences, and discussions, students learn the significance of reconciliation and the importance of building respectful relationships between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
“This year we join the walk in Kerang thanks to Gannawarra Shire Council.”
Ms Hogg said one “shining” example of dedication to creativity and innovation was the school’s collaboration with local artist Tobie Cameron.
“Through this partnership, students have the opportunity to explore their artistic talents and express themselves through various mediums whilst learning about Aboriginal story telling,” she said.
“Tobie’s gentle and inclusive guidance and expertise inspire our young artists to think outside the box and develop cultural appreciation and creativity.
“At Murrabit Group School, we believe that every child deserves a happy and rewarding school experience.
“With our stimulating programs, supportive community, and nurturing environment, we strive to make every child’s school days memorable and fulfilling.”
Murrabit Group School is also now providing a before and after school OSHC program.
