ULTIMA had full control over Moulamein in a seven-goal win that moved them to second on the Golden Rivers A Grade ladder.
The Roos boosted their side with the inclusion of Lou Frost over the last fortnight and are a proving to be a serious force to be reckoned with following the 43-36 victory.
The Swans were hoping to continue their form from the previous week, when they defeated the ever impressive Blues, but it was not to be, with Ultima’s Ash Sanders unstoppable shooting 33 goals for the match, to give the Roos their fourth win of the season.
Macorna 48 d Wandella 37
THE first quarter between Macorna and Wandella went goal for goal, before the Tigers eventually broke clear to record an 11-goal win.
Wandella added Sophie Perryman from Boort for their encounter and she provided great midcourt drive, but it was the familiar goaling combo of Emmalea Wishart and Asela Finch that proved crucial for the Tigers, who continued to blood young guns Meiha Burns and Zoe Stewart in their team.
Macorna proved too strong to win 48-37, the biggest margin of the round.
