THE Kerang Football Netball Club held its debutante ball last weekend, swapping its on-field foot skills to waltz across the Memorial Hall.
Nine debutantes performed in front of more than 350 people.
The club’s Kirstyn Waddingham said the couples underwent six to eight weeks of training leading up to the special evening, what had an upbeat modern twist to tradition.
The committee has held three debutante balls in 2022, making up for postponed events in the past two years due to COVID-19.
