GANNAWARRA residents will have the chance to provide feedback on Gannawarra Council’s performance in coming weeks.
Independent market research agency National Field Services is conducting the annual community satisfaction survey, with all results received to help council improve its services.
“The community satisfaction survey is an important process for councils across Victoria, including Gannawarra Shire, as it helps gauge whether council is meeting the community’s expectations in various categories,” Mayor Charlie Gillingham said.
“Four hundred interviews involving people aged 18 years and over will be conducted randomly during the next seven weeks, with participants asked to provide their feedback on a range of council-related matters.
“All responses received will be confidential, with only the overall summary results shared with council.”
Residents who choose to take part in the survey will be asked to assess council’s overall performance, how it engages with the community, how it communicates news and events to residents, its decision making performance and response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The survey also features questions specifically relating to community services, customer service, libraries recreation facilities, roads and waste management.
