THE Central Murray Football Netball League is hopeful an independent investigator will complete a report into an incident out of the league’s senior second semi-final by the end of next week.
An investigator is looking into the circumstances that led to Kerang player, Bronson Booth breaking his jaw during September 2’s match against Woorinen.
Booth and a Woorinen player made contact at the five-minute mark of the opening term, with the league’s official footage from the game not capturing the incident.
Kerang has obtained independent footage of the incident, which the club unsuccessfully tried to pass onto the league for the match review panel to consider.
“The investigation will be completed at the investigator’s pace, end of story,” league chairman, John Brookshaw said.
“We are hopeful it will be completed as soon as possible.”
