Vehicle recovered

POLICE have recovered a vehicle stolen from a Leitchville address.

A silver Ford Focus was stolen from a nature strip between 8pm on March 20 and 5.30am the following day.

The vehicle was located in a paddock at Patho hours later.

The registration plates had been removed.

Tiles smashed

TERRACOTTA tiles were damaged at a Kerang school last week.

A large number of the tiles were stored in the school grounds in Mitchell Street.

It happened some time between 10am on March 20 and 8am on March 22.

Rims taken

FOUR rims were removed from a vehicle at a Kerang car yard.

The offenders accessed the Victoria Street business some time between 1.50am and 3am on March 17 and removed the rims.

The rims were HSV Rapier 20 inch with Pirelli ultra low profile tyres.

Deception

TWO men will face court after failing to scam an elderly man in Kerang on March 18.

The victim had received a call from a person stating they were from a bank and asked him to withdraw $20,000, stating they were investigating a staff member. They then arranged a drop off in Kerang.

The victim spoke to a neighbour, and they then went to the Kerang Police Station.

Later that day police located a vehicle in the vicinity of the address and spoke to the two occupants.

Both males were arrested and interviewed in relation to attempting to obtain property by deception.

They are expected to appear in court at a later date on summons.

Ute missing

A VEHICLE has been stolen from a Koondrook address.

Police said the white Isuzu space cab ute was taken from Teague Street, some time between 5.30pm on March 24 and 6.30am the following day.
