WEDNESDAY was ladies Stableford.

The wind came out to play with the ladies and in a hard-fought battle Nola Robinson was the winner, scoring 37 points.

Ball pool went to Carol Dear 34 and Marg Learmonth 32. Chino’s NTP went to Carol Dear.

Thursday was R&R Stableford.

A very big field for a Thursday event had 36 members and guests taking on the course.

The day’s winner was Greg Gin scoring 40 points.

Ball pool went to R Fabry and M Wilson 37, D Ellwood, T Laughlin and C Wilkie 35, and R Schultze 34. NTPs went to C Wilkie 3rd, D Ellwood 5th, M Henderson 13th and D Meehan 16th.

On Saturday, 27 members and guests played Stableford.

One of our new members Peter Hatton won the men’s event scoring 45 points. The ladies winner, Carol Dear, scored 35 points.

Ball pool went to R Nesbit 44, G Teasdale 42, B Shields and S McKerrow 36, and G Wyte. NTPs went to G Teasdale 3rd, B Shields 5th and 16th, C Dear 9th, and L Keighran 13th.

Sunday’s Autopro four-person Ambrose was very well supported by members and guests from various district clubs. A total of 87 golfers took part.

The winners were R Pay, J Clark, A Robertson and G Hayes, with a score of 53.75.

The runners-up were the Worner family from Lalbert GC, Chris, Chayse, Jess and Scott, with a score of 54.75.

NTPs went to W Hall 3rd, M Dalrymple 5th, G Teasdale 9th, B Treacy 13th and C Worner 16th.

Long drive winners were D Grant for the ladies and S Harry for the men.
