There is no Black Duck on Tuesday.

Men’s fours and mixed pairs entry forms are on the board.

Lots of tournaments are coming up, so please try to attend some and help make them as successful as possible.

Happy birthday to Marj Robinson on February 5.

The President’s Handicap, and 100 up for men, are to be played by February 27. If you’re in to play, organise your game as soon as possible.

Last week saw a very competitive game against Cohuna in Division 1 while Division 2 staged a great comeback against Barham but couldn’t overcome the earlier deficit. For some of our players it was their first experience on the new greens at the Barham complex.

Tomorrow sees the last round of home and away matches of a depleted season before the finals begin. Both Kerang teams are home and are reminded that we have invited Barham and Pyramid Hill to lunch after the games.

It is a busy week for our club with 40 teams contesting the Athol Stephen Classic Triples beginning yesterday and continuing today. We have welcomed many visitors from far and wide to our greens and hope they enjoy their time in Kerang.

Thanks to the generous businesses and individuals who have provided sponsorship for this event. Come on down to the club to witness some top bowling action.

On Thursday morning we welcome John Quinn and his enthusiastic group for the first of four weeks of “Bowls for All Abilities” followed in the evening for our “Get on the Greens” social bowls. Friday afternoon we visit Northaven for our monthly Carpet Bowls and in the evening host Kerang and District Health for their Barefoot Bowls.

Our Division 2 and 3B teams carry our Saturday Pennant hopes into the finals and we encourage all those who missed out this year to support Div 2 at Cohuna Golf and Div 3 at Cohuna on Saturday.

On Sunday we host the Champion of Champions Singles event starting at 9.30am.

Our ladies champion, Barb Williams, has a forfeit in her match so will progress into the semi-final the following week. Jason Wilson is our men’s champion this year and he will play Gary Easton of Cohuna Golf in his first match. We wish Barb and Jason all the best in their matches and trust our members will rally to support them.
