Veterans

THIRTY players competed in the monthly veterans Stableford competition in fine conditions at Kerang Golf Club on March 12.

The course was in great condition after the Triple Golfanza event finished on Monday.

The ladies winner, with a score of 34, was Meryl Cameron. The runner-up was Pauline Jones, with 29.

The men’s A grade winner was Chopper Jacobson, a visitor from Queensland, with 36, on a countback from Greg Gin.

The B grade winner was Ben Marshall, another visitor from Queensland, with 34. The runner-up was Ken Jones, with 32.

Ball pool went to Lorraine Howard 28, Dennis Pretty 35, J. Manser, Gary Pay, Joe Tartaglia and Peter Anderson, another visitor from Queensland, all on 33.

NTP on the 3rd M. Cameron and J. Brunt, 5th M. Cameron and R. Henshall, 9th M. Cameron and G. Gin, 13th L. Howard and D. Pretty and 16th J. Brunt.

Following the presentations, the AGM was held.

Fred O’Bryan was re-elected president, secretary/treasurer R. Henshall and captain G. Wyte.
