Green light for all abilities

KERANG Golf Club has reopened its doors to people of all abilities.

A three-week all-abilities-access program began last week with funding by Sport and Recreation Victoria, which focuses on inclusive participation.

Mallee Sports Assembly’s Rhonda Allan attended the first session last Thursday and club volunteers Graham Wyte and Phill Lloyd taught participants the art of putting.

Mrs Allan again approached the golf club, which was more than happy to host the program.

Despite low attendance, participants again enjoyed their time on the greens.

The program offers a great opportunity to try out golf.

Two Thursday sessions remain, this week and on November 9, from 10.30am to 11.30am.

For more information on the program, call Mallee Sports Assembly Wycheproof on 0427 780 109.
