Ute, tools stolen
A UTE was stolen from Cohuna property last week.
Police said offenders forced entry to a Simpson Street house some time between 4pm on July 14 and 3pm on July 16.
They located keys to a white Triton 4WD utility and drove off.
It is alleged they also stole items from the house, including numerous tools and a 400 litre diesel fuel pod.
The vehicle has a large black-coloured “N” on both sides of the ute.
It also has black Sunraysia rims fitted.
Drugs found
DRUGS were sniffed out by police in a vehicle near Cohuna.
Police stopped a male driver on the Murray Valley Highway, east of Cohuna, about 8.30pm on July 13.
A strong smell of cannabis was noticeable to police, who said two bags of cannabis were found, totalling more than 100 grams.
Meanwhile, a woman was arrested in Kerang on July 14 after cannabis was found in a bag.
Police said they stopped a vehicle in Park Road about 3.15pm, with a strong odour of cannabis detected.
Alcohol theft
A WOMAN stole alcohol from a Kerang supermarket, police said.
The woman attended the store about 4pm on July 14 and removed three cans and placed them in her bag.
She has then selected a cheap bottle of wine and purchased it.
The woman was identified and would soon be arrested, police said.
Meanwhile, a woman also stole items from a Kerang supermarket on July 12 and was also set to be arrested.
