Police round-up

VANDALS caused “considerable” damage to water infrastructure at Benjeroop last month, police report.

Control panels at the Goulburn Murray Water substation on the Benjeroop-Tresco Road were damaged on June 25.


THIEVES allegedly used an angle grinder or similar to force their way into a garage at a residential property on Fitzroy Street, Kerang, last month.

The offenders then rummaged through an unlocked vehicle.

The incident happened some time between 7am on June 22 and 8.30am on June 26.

It appeared nothing was stolen.


CALLOUS thieves have stolen war medals from a vacant property in Kerang.

Offenders forced their way into the garage in Albert Street, some time between 2.30pm on June 23 and 11am on June 26.

War medals, a McCulloch chainsaw, vintage oil tins and railway signs were among the items stolen.
