Ladies Stableford – Wednesday, May 21
FOURTEEN ladies played Stableford on Wednesday, with Jenny Waterson winning with a score of 36 points via a count back, ahead of Joyce Boyd, also on 36 points.
Others in the ball pool were Rowena Henry (35 points) and Jill Marshall (34 points).
The nearest the pins were won by Rosie Laughlin on the third hole and Joyce Boyd on Chino’s ninth hole.
Kerang Golf Clubs ladies autumn tournament, sponsored by Wishart’s Jewellers, will be held next Friday, May 30, with a 9.30am assembly ahead of a 10am tee-off.
It will be a 4BBB v Stableford format, with the course currently in great condition – so ladies, get yourself a partner and come and play.

R & R Stableford – Thursday, May 22
UNDER overcast skies, 21 members and guests played a Stableford competition last Thursday, with the day’s winner Tony Hall after he scored 36 points.
The ball pool went to Chris Waterson with 35 points and both Lindsay Hogg and Kevin Sambrooks with 34 points.
The nearest the pins went to C. Waterson (3rd hole), K. Chase (5th hole), T. Laughlin (9th hole), T. Hall (13th hole) and Greg Maher of the Murrabit Golf Club (16th hole).
Stableford – Saturday, May 24
TWENTY five members and guests teed off in fine overcast conditions on Saturday, with the ladies winner Shirley Jenner after she scored 35 points.
The men’s winner was Peter Hatton with 36 points after a countback with Tony Laughlin.
Others in the ball pool were L. Hogg with 35 points and D. Henderson with 34 points.
