Who has Kurl seen around the streets and shops?

Tony and Rowena Henry were in at Autopro getting a socket set that Tony needed. Tony couldn’t find one he’d seen earlier and was thinking maybe Rod had hidden them from him.

If only you’d had a decent look, Tony.

While moving a bit of dirt the other day, it’s funny how people can go past and give cheek (and that’s without saying a word). Of course the main culprit was one bloke that I shouldn’t name, but he drives the Lake Boga Transport van around town.

It would have been very easy to take turns on the shovel. He was obviously very busy that day.

Must admit though, it was excellent to stop and have a chat for a bit of a spell. Thanks Bruce.

Kai Lane and Krackers Messer were relaxing having a cup of coffee in the main street a couple of weeks ago. The thought was that these two blokes would be starring in the Wandella Reserves, but while looking on the team sheet on line it was noticed that Krackers didn’t get a game. He must be saving himself for cricket.

Kai on the other hand must be pushing for a senior match.

All the best, fellas. Hope life is as good as it seemed to be the other Wednesday.

Morto and Gary just across the lane out the back of Autopro or Chick and Stace’s place are having a change of the guard.

Morto says he will retire and Gary will semi-retire. Of course some loose ends will need to be cleaned up.

Dan Stubbs is going to jump in and have a crack. Best of luck to all.

Shaun Delamare’s daughter, Harper, has made the Victorian Under 12 squad to play in the Australian School Championships in Adelaide during August. Harper plays for Echuca United Under 12 and Under 18s and has been through the squad selections to gain a spot in the team.

Harper’s dad loved his footy and was a bit of a gun and grandfather, Colin (Chookeyes) Delamare could play a bit too, being an Appin FC premiership player.

Best wishes from all at Kerang Harper.

I was at the Exchange while working and saw Sandy from the radio in there also. It’s interesting to note that Sandy left with a couple of bottles of wine.

Apparently the bottles were for a donation to a local club, but Sandy, I’d like to think that they were for the afternoon. Smiley face.

Hannah Cat the Sporties was mentioned last week regarding her hair and tipping. Well now her footy tipping is the news. She tipped them all in round 15 on June 25 moving her from the bottom to a few off the bottom. Does Digger have anything to worry about Han?

Wandella are holding a back-to for the 1972 junior premiership on the weekend of July 16. Russell Bott tells me that he and Bryan Livingston kicked all the goals that day. That’s one way to put it.

Other premierships will also be celebrated on the night. Go Bombers.
