Sent in to hit on damp wicket

A Grade

A GRADE loss the toss and were sent in for a hit on a damp wicket.

The first three went cheaply before Toby Gray and Luke Murray put on 20 each. Rohan Oliver, Lagan Keighran and Ethan McKnight all contributed well later in the innings to get the team to 93.

Woorinen reached the score with only two overs to go, thanks to some very tight bowling. Injuries to Logan Keighran, Ryan Barnes and Rohan Oliver saw three of our top bowlers unable to contribute during the late overs, which took the pressure off the Woorinen batters.

All other bowlers put in a great effort with Ethan McKnight taking three wickets.

The A Grade finished the year in third position and will face Woorinen again next week in the finals.

B Grade

With Flynn McKnight in great form making 39 and 19 each from Paddy Oliver and Russell Bott, the B Graders made it to 93.

Kyle Hodges took the only two wickets as Nyah District reached the total in the 19th over.

C Grade

The C Grade team had the bye but finished the year in fourth position and look forward to finals next week.

The Jujniors have finished in second position and will also look forward to competing in the finals.

Good luck to all teams.
