Registrations open

With the summer heat on its way, Kerang Swimming Club is up and running, with sessions held Monday to Thursday from 6 to 7pm each night and each member able to take part in three sessions a week.

Last week’s hot conditions prompted an influx of registrations, but more are encouraged.

The club is open to children from the age of five-years.

People can register at the pool on one of the nights when sessions run, and will receive a t-shirt upon joining.

Kerang Swimming Club membership costs $100 per child for the season or $250 for a family group of three or more children.

Swimming pool season passes can be purchased and are available from the Gannawarra Shire Council.

They cost $65 for students and those aged under 18 years. Season tickets can be used at Kerang, Cohuna and Leitchville swimming pools.

Otherwise, participants will have to pay for each entry to the pool.

Adult season tickets cost $95.
