ABOUT 130 people got their groove on at the Kerang Golf Club, where two music acts entertained a small crowd.
The weather was ideal and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly at the club’s fourth annual Groove on the Green fundraiser.
The event saw people from around the district catch up, have a dance and enjoy a few drinks, with tasty food supplied by local businesses.
Organiser Jan Harry said the evening had again been a success.
“Groove was great, people had a lot of fun,” Ms Harry said.
“And the music was fantastic.
“People know and love Lokki Acoustic and the response to the Brothers from Bendigo was brilliant.”
Ms Harry said funds raised on the night will go towards the future development of the golf course.
“We’re forever improving the course for the benefit of our members and green fees players,” she said.
Money was also raised for the Loddon Murray Cycling Club’s Murray to Moyne bike ride by the operation of a bus service in the Barham and Kerang areas on the night.
The event is set to run again on November 8 next year.
