THE Gannawarra Library Service is hosting an author talk session with renowned crime fiction writer Robert Gott this month.

The author of more than 90 books, Mr Gott will speak about his career and inspirations during a special event occurring at Kerang’s Sir John Gorton Library on October 13 from 10.30am.

Mr Gott is the author of the popular Murders series, which include The Holiday Murders, The Port Fairy Murders, The Autumn Murders and The Orchard Murders, as well as the William Power series of crime-caper novels set in 1940s Australia, comprising Good Murder, A Thing of Blood, Amongst the Dead and The Serpent’s Sting.

“Robert’s work has been shortlisted twice for the Australian Crime Writers Association’s Ned Kelly Award for Best Crime Fiction, whilst he is also renowned for his The Adventures of Naked Man newspaper cartoon series,” council chief executive Tom O’Reilly said.

Spaces are limited to attend this special session. To book your spot, call the Gannawarra Library Service on 5452 1546.
