Students’ show on point

ALTHOUGH Dancescape Kerang’s annual dance production was cancelled due to the flood crisis, students were provided an opportunity to perform for the general public at a presentation evening at Thornely Hall.

Students showcased some of the routines learnt during the year, and award winners from the various dance styles received trophies.

Carrie Byrne was presented with the acro dance award, Alyssa Boyd the classical dance award, Hannah Gardiner took home the award for jazz and Bainli Galway the tap dance award.

Following the presentation evening, a number of students also performed for residents at both the day care centre and Northaven.

Finally, a dance presentation was also performed by a number of students at the Christmas carols in Atkinson Park, concluding the year of dance for Dancescape students.
