Classic bistro meals and great service

RIVER Gum Bistro and Cafe prides itself on classic bistro meals, competitive pricing, member discounts and great customer service.

The bistro is part of CluBarham, and was rebranded from Indulge in 2021.

With that came a change of head chef and an exciting menu which incorporated an American BBQ smoker offering beef, pork and brisket smoked burgers.

Club manager Josh Forster said “getting the classics spot on” was the venue’s focus, and ensuring quality and consistency was the main goal.

“We offer a range of classic bistro options such as parmas, char-grilled steaks and home-made pizza,” he said.

“Our Barham Beef Brisket Burger is a customer favourite along with our parmas and roast of the day.

“We’re open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and offer breakfast on weekends between 8am and 10am.”

The bistro offers membership discounts, while points can be collected and used right across club.

Lunch is offered between 11.30am and 2pm while dinner is served from 5.30pm until 8.30pm.

On Wednesday nights, the bistro hosts a Parma, Pasta or Pizza and Pot night.

For $24 for visitors and $22 for members, customers can select from five parma options, four pasta choices or five pizza styles.

All meals are complemented with a free pot of beer, soft drink or house wine.

Mr Forster said he was particularly proud of the team of staff and the value placed on ensuring customers left satisfied.

“We have wonderful staff who really have fun with our patrons, and I think that’s part of what sets us apart from other venues,” he said.

“Having motivated and passionate staff flows through to the customer experience and quality and consistency of product means guests know what to expect each time they visit.

“River Gum Bistro & Café welcomes everyone to come in and put their food, drinks and service to the test.

Bookings are not necessary but larger parties can call ahead to reserve a table on 5451 1800.
