Small business bus to roll into region

THE Victorian Government’s Small Business Bus will roll into Kerang and Swan Hill in coming weeks.

This service will be offering free expert business advice to small business owners and those wanting to start a business.

It will be stationed at 50 Victoria Street, Kerang, on Monday, June 16 and 218 Campbell Street, Swan Hill, on Tuesday, June 17.

Walk-ins are welcome but bookings are recommended.

Since it first hit the road 14 years ago, the bus has made more than 3300 visits and helped more than 47,000 small business owners across the state.

Small businesses in the Mallee can seek general business assistance, as well as advice on business planning, financial and cashflow management, marketing, business compliance and staffing issues – entirely free of charge.

For those unable to attend in person, online business advisory sessions are available through Business Victoria.

For more information and to make a booking, visit business.vic.gov.au/grants-and-programs/small-business-bus.

Small Business Minister, Natalie Suleyman, said: “The Small Business Bus is a fantastic resource for people looking to start or grow their small business – providing them with free expert advice so their business can grow, thrive and create local jobs for their community.”
