Community fun at Cohuna

FOLLOWING a turbulent two years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Cohuna community embraced the opportunity to come together for a family fun-filled day.

Organised by Cohuna Markets Inc and supported by Gannawarra Shire Council though the State Government’s COVID Safe Activation Fund, Cohuna Family Fun Day provided free food, entertainment and amusements for the community.

Cohuna Markets president Sarah Mostyn said the turnout was phenomenal.

She said COVID-19, the increasing cost of living and rising fuel prices had impacted the community at a local level and it was nice to be able to give something back following a tough few years.

“I think the community appreciates a free day out and people are really keen to get out and about again,” Ms Mostyn said.

“It was so heart-warming to see our beautiful community coming together for a day of fun.”
