RESIDENTS wanting to have their say on the draft Gannawarra aquatic strategy can do so through an online survey.
The survey – which can be accessed at gsc.vic.gov.au/aquatic – forms part of a community engagement process council is undertaking to determine the future of aquatic services in the municipality.
“The community engagement period is an important step in the process to produce the final version of the Gannawarra aquatic strategy,” Mayor Charlie Gillingham said.
“Since development of the draft strategy began in late 2020, we have heard the passion our communities have for their local outdoor swimming pools, as well as the growing need for year-round warm water facilities to support learn to swim programs for the Gannawarra’s young people and to facilitate low-impact exercise programs.”
The survey is open until 5pm, July 31.
