Nature day at Koorangie Marshes

THE North Central Catchment Management Authority is hosting a nature day at Koorangie Marshes, near Kerang, on Thursday.

The free event, from 10am-2pm, will feature a weaving workshop with local traditional owners, two kayaking sessions led by well-known ecologist Damien Cook, and photography lessons with Doug Gimesy.

Kayaking sessions are 10.30am and noon, with children needing to be accompanied by an adult.

Bring a hat, protective clothing, a camera/phone, and drink bottle.

A free barbecue lunch will be provided.
