Coliban Waters Customer and Community rebates program now open

LOCAL community groups in Boort, Cohuna and Gunbower will have the opportunity to benefit from a series of rebates as part of Coliban Water’s Customer and Community rebates program.

Executive general manager of customer and stakeholder experience Lauren McLean said the latest round of community $5000 rebates are being offered following a review of Coliban Water’s performance during the 2022/23 financial year.

“We know things like interruptions to our customers water supply, poor water pressure, other water quality issues, a Boil Water Advisory or sewer spill can be inconvenient – and not the standard of service we’ve committed to as a customer-funded organisation,” Ms McLean said.

“Our community rebates are designed to provide the whole community with a financial benefit through support for community-directed projects. They are a tangible way for us to acknowledge there have been occasions when we have not met customer expectations over the past 12 months.”

Ms McLean said Coliban Water has been proud to support a range of local initiatives since the program’s inception in 2018.

“We know our communities are better places to love thanks to the hard work of volunteers and the much-needed programs offered by not-for-profit groups,” Ms McLean said.

“We encourage as many community groups as possible to apply for this funding.”

The community rebates will be awarded following an expression of interest process. Applications close Friday, September 1. To apply or to find out more information, visit www.coliban.com.au/help-advice/customer-and-community-rebates
