Large crowds turned out to enjoy the afternoon and evening of entertainment at the Kerang Show last Monday.
There is also a new show president, Sharon Ash, and she wants to see the Show return to its glory days.
Although she has been a member of the Show Society for more than 25 years, this is her first foray into the role of president.
Mrs Ash has decided that there needs to be changes, as doing the same things didn’t seem to be working.
“I have also found out that I am the first female president in the 137 year history of the Show,” Mrs Ash said.
“I have been really happy with the turnout to the Show, and the weather was perfect for the day.
“After all that has happened with COVID and floods it was nice to see families out and about enjoying what we’ve got, which is fantastic.
“It’s really great to see it back in the town.”
The ever popular side show alley was alive with rides, with names to entice the thrill seeker like the Claw, Cha Cha and Midnight Madness.
Traditional favourites were not left out with dodgem cars, shooting galleries and the good old fashion clowns still enticing show goers.
There was plenty of entertainment with local band “4 to the bar” supporting international band Jetty Road.
