Event funds on offer

FINANCIAL help is available to community groups, organisations and local live music venues planning events during the Easter long weekend or April holiday period.

Eligible groups are able to apply for up to $5000 to support new and existing events, programs and activities which support the social connection of Gannawarra residents and a unique point of difference to attract visitors to the Gannawarra over the upcoming holiday periods.

Some examples of events and activities may include live music at local venues, children and family entertainment, community barbecues, pop-up art, or school holiday programs. The funding is part of the Gannawarra Community Flood Recovery Program.

Applications will be assessed as they are received but must be made by Thursday, February 29.
