School bake sale doubles in size

KERANG Primary School held its annual bake sale on Friday, coinciding with the completion of the book parade.

School council member Carlee Bloomfield said all items for sale had been donated by the school community.

“Our number of donations this year has been really great,” Ms Bloomfield said.

“We have received twice as many as we did last year, and that’s good because all money raised will go back to the school.”

President of the school council, Gerard Hastie, said parents and family members of the school had done a terrific job.

Mr Hastie thanked the council for its work in making the bake sale a huge success.
