TRINITY Burger and Jemarie Cafe are relishing the chance to lead the Kerang Christian College after being named college captains for 2023.
Year 12 students Trinity and Jemarie will serve their fellow students in a range of events at both the college and in the wider community.
Their first major task will be supporting newly named sports captain Riley Nethercote when they lead the Kerang Christian College Swimming Carnival this Friday.
Principal Lance Davidson, who joined the college this year, was pleased to welcome all three into their new positions.
“I am really excited to be leading Kerang Christian College this year and to be working alongside enthusiastic young people who are wanting to make a difference in their school community,” he said.
“I am looking forward to working with the students who know the school well, while also hopefully sharing some of what I have learnt along the way in my own leadership journey.”
The house captains have also been announced to represent the college’s three houses: Adams (Green), Baker (Yellow) and Provis (Red).
As members of the Adams house, Trinity and Jemarie have been named house captains. Sarosh Sajeev and Abigail Tilley will take on the role for Baker, while Kaylee Shipp and Thomas Murphy have been named the Provis captains.
The house captains will also be taking their roles very seriously at the swimming carnival where they will each do their best to motivate and galvanise their team to take home the carnival trophy.
