Where every student shines

KERANG Primary School’s vision is to work with the community to achieve outstanding academic and wellbeing outcomes for all their students.

The school operates under three main values of respect, responsibility and kindness.

These values underpin the interactions of the school community and provide guidance to how each member of the school community can grow and learn.

Maximising achievement and the learning growth of every student in literacy and numeracy remains a main aim of the school for the 2023 to 2027 period, along with improving students’ voice and agency in wellbeing and learning.

Kerang Primary School offers positive and professional staff committed to developing the learning of every student in partnership with parents and carers and an innovative curriculum that uses evidence-based practice to accelerate student learning and wellbeing.

The school culture values strong partnerships between home, school, and the community.

Kerang Primary School’s comprehensive ICT program offers a 1:1 ratio of devices to students.

Specialist subjects that include Physical Education, Art, Music, Library and AUSLAN are a feature of the school curriculum which also runs a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program.

A mixture of heritage and modern facilities create a physically welcoming environment for all students, parents and staff at Kerang Primary School.
