MURRABIT Group School is a small, rural school.

The school prides itself on providing high-quality education to students from Foundation to Grade 6, in a warm and nurturing environment.

The school’s mission is to provide a comprehensive education that empowers students to become independent, creative, and responsible citizens.

To achieve this mission, the school has a team of highly skilled and dedicated teachers who work closely with students to provide individualised attention and support.

Murrabit Group School has a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and inquiry skills and wellbeing, with dedicated programs and resources to support student learning in these areas.

The school also offers a range of extra-curricular activities to enrich the student experience, including music, sports, and Italian.

The school has a large vegetable garden that is tended by students, and students also participate in the River Detectives Program.

The school has a strong connection to the local community, with regular events and activities that involve parents and community members.

This helps to create a supportive and inclusive school culture, where everyone is valued and respected.

Murrabit Group School also has a strong focus on technology and the development of digital literacy skills.

All students have netbook use as well as access to iPads.
