MINOR flooding has been recorded for the Loddon River at Appin South and downstream of Laanecoorie Reservoir.
In the 48 hours to 2pm on Sunday, rainfall totals of 10-20mm were recorded in the Loddon River catchment.
Goulburn Murray Water said that the Laanecoorie Reservoir was spilling and that the “situation is being monitored”.
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Loddon River at Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir.
The Loddon River downstream of Laanecoorie is currently at 1.71 metres and rising, with minor flooding.
Minor flooding is occurring along the Loddon River at Appin South.
Renewed river rises and minor flooding may develop downstream at Loddon Weir.
The Loddon River at Appin South is currently at 2.8m and steady, with minor flooding, and likely to remain around the minor flood level.
