KERANG Fire Brigade attended a bin fire near the town’s Shadforth Street public toilets, located next to Kerang Memorial Hall, on Sunday morning.
Brigade captain Ramon Steel indicated the blaze which destroyed the bin was most likely started by a discarded cigarette.
The fire didn’t spread to any structures, with the loss of the bin the only damage.
