Old and young get moving

THE first of the Gannawarra library service’s four grandparents and mini movers sessions attracted a good turnout at Cohuna last week.

The multi-generational sessions, which involve dance, yoga and “calming techniques”, are reportedly a lot of fun.

Gannawarra Shire’s acting director of community wellbeing Kerri Sidorow said nearly 40 people attended Tuesday’s event, many of whom said they loved it.

“It has been great to see so many people of all ages take up the opportunity to get active,” Ms Sidorow said.

“Council looks forward to seeing another great turnout when the second of the grandparents and mini movers sessions are held in Cohuna and Kerang later this month.”
