2022 in Review – April – American cars star at Show and Shine

A VINTAGE luxury American car worth millions is among the star attractions at this year’s Kerang Show and Shine.

There will be lots of exciting old and vintage cars on display, including the Cord car that is valued at three million dollars.

Cord was an American luxury automobile company from Connersville in Indiana and produced vehicles between 1929 and 1937.

Another vehicle that will attract attention is a Tucker, which only had a limited run of production in 1948 before the company went bankrupt and ceased all operations in early 1949.

The main feature at this year’s event will be Ford Mustangs, with a Bathurst-raced Mustang and a left hand drive Mustang from the US.

There will also be a display of new and old trucks.

Two-wheel fans will also be able to check out the motorbikes with a large number of both modern and vintage bikes to be displayed.

There is a selection of antique bikes and other wares that will be on display in the pavilion.

There will also be a swap meet, so make sure that you leave plenty of time to make you way around all the stallholders.

It is set to be great family day out, and there will be plenty of food and drink options on the day.

The event is at Alexandra Park (Showgrounds/Racecourse) on Sunday April 24, from 9am-3pm.

Entry is $5 a head and with the day falling on the Anzac Day Long Weekend, there should be quite a crowd in attendance.
