These guys weren’t affected by the virus and continued to provide excellent service.

Caught up with Lindsay Hein in the street last week and he was bragging that he is eating some lovely fish at home that he had caught only recently since the restrictions were lifted.
Lindsay couldn’t understand why he wasn’t allowed to go out and catch a feed during the restrictions, but is extremely happy that he doesn’t need to break the law to wet a line.

Andy Gray was walking the street the other day with cheque book in hand, paying bills. Talking to Ross George, they were discussing the taste of a pleasant ale, among other things, and how Andy enjoys “bill day” where he gets out and can have a chat to clients.
Of course Mr Gray has a good belly laugh with friends and believes that the personality of his computer doesn’t respond as well as a friend.

Mick Hastie hasn’t been affected too much by the virus. A few regulations as far as wearing gloves etc, but his work is the same and constant.
Pipes still burst, so someone’s gotta do it, and Mick is the very chap.

Peter Colville jumped in and helped move the Bus Stop Recycle Shop from 22 Nolan Street, to their new premises in Bendigo Road, the old JI Paper building. Of course it would be Robyn to get Peter going to help. Hope he got working and didn’t just talk.

On the island between Leitchville and Gunbower is Andrew Brown’s dairy farm. He’s currently drying a few off, but looks to milk about 300 at the peak of production.
Browny had a hit of cricket with Cohuna United B Grade last season and just so happened to lead their batting aggregate.
Back when footy was a realistic thought in Browny’s mind, he was recruited from Leitchville to have a run with Macorna. Dashing off the back flank, he played eight great years with the club. A pretty good innings there as well Browny.

Melbourne’s Marty Hore was the major sport story on the 4 o’clock news on Wednesday night a week ago.
Apparently he was involved in an incident and hurt his toe. Although he did limp off, he won’t miss a game.

While talking footy, AFL Central Murray has cancelled the Central Murray and Golden Rivers League’s 2020 season.
A few questions may arise, but the board will be all over it I’m sure.

Josh Treacy would have been looking for a productive 2020 season with the Bendigo Pioneers, with thoughts of being recruited the following year.

Owen Suter has re-opened his second hand shop in Scoresby Street. This place is very well presented and keeps Owen pretty busy.
Having two doors at the front, Owen has placed “Please use other door” on one of these entries. If we put that on both doors, how would Owen get in?
