Local legend Ian “Fatty” Pay has been seen dancing down the aisles in a local supermarket recently. Shows there’s still a bit of life in those old legs yet.
Fatty played footy until he was at least 50, holding down CHB in the Appin reserves right until the end. He had previously won the league B&F in the Kerang District Football League seniors.
Fatty loves his dog and is often seen leading the dog down the main street – or is it the other way around, Fatty? Who walks who?
I’ve never had much faith in Jack Silvagni, but the round 19 match against Port showed that Kurl could be wrong.
Think they have been making it a bit hard on him, playing him in the ruck and anywhere else, but let’s see what happens.
Another one I haven’t had much faith in is Motlop and he had a good game also.

There has been a bit of crime locally. Seems they target one town one week and then another a bit later. The Cohuna vets and laundromat both got done along with Cohuna Sports. IGA in Kerang also had some trouble a couple of weeks ago.
Someone stole the air hose fitting from Ampol in Cohuna. It’s all pretty frustrating. I was just thinking my tyres needed some fresh air too.
Waffles over in Cohuna have changed their name to Jens on George. They are now not only serving waffles, but also tappas and are open some evenings.
The fully licensed bar should get a bit of a work out now that it’s up and going.
Speaking of Cohuna, local lad Josh Treacy has been doing a pretty good job for Fremantle. He kicked three straight two games ago with 100 per cent disposal efficiency.
