Police beat June 20

Attempted theft of vehicle

OFFENDERS have allegedly tried to steal a motor vehicle parked in a driveway on Lower Loddon Road, Kerang.

On June 7, between 2.20am and 2.30am, a man was disturbed and ran to the road where he was seen entering a silver hatch before driving away, and was last seen driving towards Kerang.

Police are seeking information from the community to assist in identifying the vehicle and its occupants.

Bollard lighting smashed

A PERSON was seen allegedly smashing bollard lighting on Murray Street in Kerang on June 5 between 3.30am and 4.30am.

Kerang police are seeking assistance from the community to identify the person responsible.

Alleged assault

POLICE were called to a Kerang hotel on June 4 after receiving reports of an alleged assault.

Police detained a minor in relation to the incident, who was then also found to be in possession of what police alleged is a quantity of a drug of dependence.

A weapon was also found.

The minor received a formal caution.

Lake Charm Caravan Park gate damage

A MAN allegedly deliberately drove through a gate at Lake Charm Caravan Park, damaging it, on June 2.

The 41-year-old Lake Charm man was arrested the next day.
