Purse stolen from unlocked car

POLICE say a purse has been snatched from a vehicle parked in Cohuna.

The victim parked her car at her site at a caravan park, but left it unlocked with the purse on the front seat, about 10.15pm on September 15.

The following morning, the victim noticed her purse had been stolen.

Police are seeking witnesses and were looking at CCTV in an attempt to identify offenders.


Alcohol stolen

POLICE say alcohol was stolen from a Leitchville sports ground earlier this month.

The clubroom was broken into sometime between September 7 and 11.

A quantity of alcohol and soft drink cans were stolen.

Damage was also done to other areas in the building. Police are seeking assistance.


Images show booze theft

CAMERA images show two youths stealing alcohol from a property in Kerang.

The youths entered a Lyall Avenue backyard about 4.30am on September 17.

They walked up to a fridge at the rear of the house and removed alcohol before fleeing over the fence.

Police were examining the images.


Cash missing

CASH was allegedly stolen from a Kerang business.

The money was taken from the locked business, on Bendigo Road, on September 15 or 16.
