Rego plates unscrewed

POLICE are investigating the alleged theft of registration plates from a vehicle parked in Cohuna.

The front and rear plates were were taken about 10am on January 1 from the vehicle on Hay Street. The registration was BNJ725.


Trailer stolen

A TANDEM trailer was allegedly stolen from a Kerang address late last month.

Police alleged the 12m by 6m trailer was taken from outside an address in Nugget Street some time between 9pm on December 27 and 8am the following morning.

The trailer was gunmetal grey in colour and had an aluminium tool box.


Forced entry

A MAN has been arrested after allegedly forcing his way into a licensed premises in Quambatook.

The incident happened some time between December 26 and 27.

A 56-year-old male was arrested and interviewed.

He is expected to appear in court on summons at a later date.


Altercation charges

POLICE remanded a man in custody following an altercation in Quambatook.

Police were called to an address in the small Mallee town on December 28.

A 67-year-old male was arrested for recklessly causing serious injury and other offences.

He was remanded in custody.

The second male did not require medical treatment.


Festive grinch

TWO Koondrook properties were allegedly targeted by unwanted visitors during the festive period.

One home under construction in Rosen Court had bags of cement stolen and the other had damage done to the garage.

The window of a business in Main Street was also damaged and a small grader board was stolen from the front yard of a property in Grigg Road.
