FIREFIGHTING trousers were stolen from the Kerang Fire Station earlier this month.
Police said the CFA protective pants were taken from the Fitzroy Street site some time between 10pm on April 1 and 8am the following day.
A KERANG home was accessed late last month.
Police said an unknown person entered the Shadforth Street home shortly before 10pm on March 28.
Nothing appeared to have been stolen.
A MAN has been charged with a string of offences after he evaded police near Cohuna last month.
Officers attempted to intercept a vehicle on the Murray Valley Highway, near Cohuna, travelling at excessive speed on March 29.
The vehicle failed to pull over.
Police located the vehicle parked in Leitchville a short time later, but were unable to locate the driver at the time.
The vehicle was impounded and a firearm located in the vehicle was seized.
Police arrested a 32-year-old male on March 31.
He was charged with driving and firearm offences, and was remanded in custody.
